Kamaria - Giovannoni

This is a shelving unit called, aptly, "Boogie-Woogie". The first noticeable thing about this design is the lack of straight lines in favor of more complicated curves. Although I can't see this being practical, it does add visual interest. The individual boxes remind me of old television set frames. From that perspective, it could be said that Giovannoni is substituting books -- the usual content of shelves -- as another form of entertainment.
