diane-asymmetrical bottle holder

I don't really like things that are uneven like this. It may be because I, as a person, don't like asymmetry as a form of balance, or could be the fact that I'm so used to seeing household items such as this that have a somewhat symmetrical design. The function of this wine holder is the same as any, and I'm sure just as user-friendly. I obviously cannot be entirely sure of the designer's intentions with a 'different' look for a common item. My guess: similar to some of the stuff that was spoken about in class, changing the way people think, by little things. A wine bottle holder doesn't necessarily have to be 'orderly,' but almost always are. Maybe the designer wanted to prove that fact and make designs such as this also a 'normal' thing.
